This case series details the successful use of the Airtraq in seven such cases, all of whom were intubated on the first attempt with this new device.
In summary, this case series demonstrates that the Airtraq offers an alternate approach to securing the difficult airway where attempts to do so by conventional
direct laryngoscopy have failed.
